Working group participants seek to leverage experience and investments in complementary research by other IFAR members, and to create a forum where research status and information can be readily exchanged.  They will harmonize concepts for research and identify research challenges for transformation of aviation operations and safety for the 2025-2045 timeframe. 

The focus will be on development of future aviation for sustainable aviation and for safe, efficient, routine, and seamless integration of emergent and future vehicles.  The participants will capture global challenges and research capabilities, interface with the IFAR Sustainable Aviation Initiative.  In addition, the group will enable collaboration, and growth of early career researchers.
