IFAR Working Group of Future of Aviation provides a distinguished forum for discussing the future of aviation and mobility over the coming decades as seen by IFAR members. It will consider the future of the air transportation system as a vital part of the next generation of mobility in a globalized world in the middle of this century.

It will analyze directions of research, the role of IFAR as well as education and infrastructural aspects. Its overall aim is to develop for consideration by the broader IFAR membership an initial regularly updated version of the IFAR Vision on the Future of Aviation which integrates global research objectives and approaches articulated by IFAR technical working groups as general technical areas for future cooperation and the further potential role of IFAR within the international research community.
