"ICAS-IFAR Award" is a jointly established award by the International Council of the Aeronautical Sciences (ICAS) and the International Forum for Aviation Research (IFAR) to honor an individual who has made significant contribution to Aeronautical Science with his/her doctoral thesis.

“IFAR Distinguished Service Award” is an annual award established in order to recognize important contributions made by employees of IFAR member organizations. It will formally acknowledge members’ contributions and enhance individuals’ motivation to continue their engagement, supporting IFAR activities.

"IFAR Honorary Award" is a gesture of respect given to an individual to recognize his or her unique and outstanding contribution to the initiation, organization, implementation and /or management of activities, performance and value brought to IFAR.
