The IFAR Working Group for Sustainable Aviation was created to consider the best options on a path towards sustainable aviation. Its objective is to collect and exchange information on research programmes focusing on sustainable aviation to identify promising areas of collaboration between members within a particular area.

To do so, the Working Group has created a report clustering the information on programmes exchanged by the members and organized around the topics identified by the main players in the Industry (CTO Declaration, LeBourget, 2019). Furthermore, the working group organizes technical workshops to discuss identified topics of synergy between partners to foster collaborations.
